Federal Maple String-inlaid Tall Clock, possibly southeastern Massachusetts, early 19th century, the arched hood with pierced fretwork joining rectangular plinths and brass finials, above the glazed tombstone door opening to a painted iron dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and moon's-age indicator in the arch, on the waist with molded door flanked by reeded quarter-columns, all on the base with shaped skirt joining French feet, old surface, (imperfections and minor restoration), ht. 93 in.
