Brown-painted Miniature Blanket Chest over Drawer, probably New England, first quarter 19th century, pine chest with applied reeded molding on hinged lid and base, with interior till, the lower drawer with beaded molding, and brass knobs and escutcheon, supported on bracket feet, brown paint over earlier red stain, (surface abrasions, minor loss), ht. 10 1/2, wd. 14 1/2, dp. 8 1/2 in.
