Pieced and Appliqued Cotton Oak Leaf and Berries Pattern Quilt, America, late 19th/early 20th century, the quilt with sixteen blocks of Oak Leaf and Berry pattern, each four red and green stylized oak leaves with intersecting stylized berry branches in red, green and orange solid colored fabrics, on an off-white ground enclosed with a red border, edged and backed with off-white muslin, quilted with a diamond pattern and diagonal lines, (minor toning and stains), approx. 78 x 76 in. Provenance: Purchased from Fred Fuessenich, March 1973.
