Pieced Cotton Le Moyne Star Pattern Quilt, America, late 19th/early 20th century, hand-stitched quilt with thirty blocks of red calico printed Le Moyne stars on an off-white ground, alternating with blocks of off-white quilted feathered wreaths, enclosed in a scalloped red calico border, edged and backed with off-white muslin, further quilted with diagonal lines and chevrons, (minor toning, scattered stains), approx. 74 x 70 in. Provenance: Purchased from Fred Fuessenich, March, 1973.
