Patriotic Transfer-decorated Pottery Jug, early to mid-19th century, the sides with black transfer eagle flanked by Liberty-capped American flags over a bust of a gentleman, probably Andrew Jackson, "Honor the Brave" inscribed above, and Jackson's quote "The Union It Must Be Preserved" inscribed in a banner below, accented with red and blue, (crazing, toning), ht. 8 1/2 in.
