Paint-decorated Glazed Two-part Step-back Cupboard, probably Pennsylvania, c. 1830-40, the upper section with scrolled molded cresting terminating in rosettes centering a plinth with applied fan and three turned wooden finials, above the glazed cupboard doors opening to shelves flanked by carved canted corners, on a projecting work surface, set on the lower section of two short drawers above paneled cupboard doors below flanked by half-columns, all on turned feet, replaced brass pulls, painted red overall with alternating green and yellow highlights, interior painted pale yellow, (imperfections, later paint), ht. 89, lower case wd. 52 1/2, lower case dp. 19 in.
