Color pencil on black paper, sheet size 16 1/2 x 11 5/8 in. (41.9 x 29.5 cm), unframed. Condition: Minor handling creases. N.B. Period reproduction costumes for Les Plaisirs de l'Île enchantée as they might have been worn by King Louis XIV's court ballet were among those designed by De Nesle for the film Vatel , based on the life of 17th century French chef François Vatel.
