Louis Michel Eilshemius (American, 1864-1941) Landscape with Fisherman on a Lake Signed "EilshemiuS" l. r., inscribed "Painted at my Exhibition/in 3/4 hour/Nov. 28th/ 19" on the reverse. Oil on paperboard, sight size 8 x 17 in. (20.0 x 43.5 cm), framed. Condition: Losses to l.l. and u.r. corners, surface grime. Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
