Johann Robert Schürch (Swiss, 1895-1941) Two Figures by Candlelight Signed "RSchürch" and "Schürch 30" in ink l. r.; initialed "RS" in pencil, stamped "NIERENDORF GALLERY N.Y.C.," and inscribed "G ZU 1021" in pencil on the reverse. Ink and wash on PM Fabriano paper, sheet size 23 7/8 x 18 1/4 in. (60.6 x 46.4 cm), unframed. Condition: Tears, trimmed edges, handling creases, minor skinning l.r., folds to corners.
