Eugene Gustavovitch Berman (Russian/American, 1899-1972) Costume Design for Pulcinella Initialed and dated "E. B./1972" within the composition l.c., identified in an inscription on the verso. Watercolor with gouache and ink on paper, 8 3/4 x 6 1/8 in. (22.2 x 15.4 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Minor cockling. N.B. This design was made for the New York City Ballet production of Pulcinella , choreographed by George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins for the Stravinsky Festival, 1972.
