After Léon Bakst (Russian, 1866-1924) Parody of Nijinsky in L'après-midi d'un faune [The Afternoon of a Faun] Bears inscription and date "BOOKST 13-" l. r. and "Leon Bakst 1913" on the reverse. Gouache and graphite on paper, sheet size 12 x 9 5/8 in. (30.5 x 24.4 cm), framed. Condition: Minor soiling. N.B. The sitter is thought to be the British bon vivant, Napier George Henry Sturt, the 3rd Baron Alington (1896-1940), who was known more colloquially as Napier, Lord Alington, or "Naps" as he was called by his onetime beau, Tallulah Bankhead.
