Norman Carton (American, 1908-1980) Gateway Signed "Carton" l. r., signed and numbered "... 951" on the reverse, identified on a label affixed to the stretcher, stamped with the artist's name and address on the reverse and on the stretcher. Oil and mixed media on canvas, 37 x 65 in. (94.0 x 165.5 cm), framed. Condition: Craquelure primarily to areas of the white background, surface grime.
