Probably Experimental Newcomb College Bowl, New Orleans, Louisiana, early 20th century, irregular heavy-walled form with wide rim in a matte blue glaze dripping over a sage green body on the exterior and a mottled moss green on the bowl interior, the base incised with the "NC" cipher with a line through it, and a smaller "N," with additional letter and number markings in red crayon, ht. 2 3/4, dia. approx. 6 1/4 in.
