A manual for prospective British colonists first published in London in the 1630s, this work contains geographical, agricultural, ethnographic and other practical information valuable for surviving life in the North American wilderness, including a list of the birds and beasts one might hunt, and advice for things to bring on the sea voyage across the Atlantic.
