Folio, with Paterson's signature on the title page, volume one only; bound in full contemporary tan calf, tooled in blind, with a red spine label, endcaps chipped, boards rubbed and scratched, contents good, 12 1/2 x 7 3/4 in. Paterson served as Associate Justice on the Supreme Court, and Governor of New Jersey; he was a signer of the U.S. Constitution.
