Attributed to Matilde Laverrerie Barreda (American, 1824-1917) White Lotus Flowers . Initialed "M.L.B." l.r., inscribed "To my dear friend Mr. Loud Rutherford from/Matilde L. Barreda/Vevey 21st September 1874" in pencil on the reverse. Watercolor and gouache on paperboard, sheet size 9 1/2 x 11 7/8 in., unframed. Condition: Toning, rippling, staining, and tape residue to the reverse, mounted to window mat with tape on all four sides.
