Birds-eye Maple Dwarf Clock, probably Southeastern Massachusetts, c. 1820, the scroll-top case with mahogany moldings, rear door for access to mechanical components, arched and glazed door over the painted iron dial with Arabic numerals, gilt scroll decorated spandrels and star burst in the arch, plain quarter columns flank the rectangular waist door all on a French foot base with scalloped apron, eight-day alarm timepiece movement with recoil escapement and "passing" strike on bell mounted above the movement, 24-in. pendulum and iron weight, ht. 42 in.
