Reuben Tower Dwarf Clock, Hingham, Massachusetts, c. 1818, the pine case with mahoganized surface, molded top over the arched and glazed door flanked by freestanding columns, painted iron Roman numeral dial inscribed Reuben Tower, Hingham , blued steel "figure 8" hands, the waist door with faux painted banding, the base plinth with similar treatment all on a bracket feet, eight-day timepiece movement with "passing" strike, pendulum and lead weight, ht. 47 1/2 in.
