Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951) Second Island Outlet , 1916, published state of 85 (Paff, 108). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l. Etching on laid paper with "F.J. Head & Co" watermark, plate size 8 7/8 x 13 3/4 in. (22.4 x 35.0 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins over 1 inch with deckled edges to all but the left side, pencil annotations l.l., unobtrusive soiling to margins, minor hinge residue near upper corners. Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist.
