George M. Hathaway (American, 1852-1903) Three Maine Views: Seascape, Portland Harbor View, Possibly Pumpkin Knob and Three-masted Schooner off the Coast Seascape initialed "GMH" l.r., identified on a label from the Portland Museum of Art (see below) affixed to the backing; Schooner signed "G M Hathaway" l.l., Harbor initialed "GMH" l.r.; Seascape watercolor and graphite on paper; Schooner and Harbor oil on artist board, sizes to 5 1/4 x 9 5/8 in. (13.3 x 24.4 cm), all framed. Condition: Oils with fine craquelure, surface grime, Schooner with surface abrasions; Seascape with scattered foxing, gentle toning and mat burn, not examined out of frame.
