Joseph Pennell (American, 1860-1926) Two Views of Classical Monuments: Temple of Jupiter, Evening , 1913, edition of 50 (Wuerth, 335), and The Base of the Temple of Eleusis , alternatively titled Eleusis: The Pavement of the Temple , 1913, edition of 50 (Wuerth, 339). Both signed "JoPennell" in pencil l.r. and titled in pencil l.l. Lithographs on paper, sheet sizes approximately 19 x 24 3/4 in. (48.2 x 62.7 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Toning, soiling, Eleusis with nicks and tears to edges, Jupiter with staining and cockling. Provenance: Collection of Charles H.
