Two George Nakashima (1905-1990) Wohl End Tables American walnut New Hope, Pennsylvania, c. 1957 Both with triangular top with soft edges over three legs, one with through leg posts, the other reinforced posts, both unmarked, ht. 21, wd. to 26 1/4 in. Note: Commissioned by the consignor from George Nakashima. This consignor served in Germany in World War II. He said after the war he and his wife were poor but they drove to George's studio and bought one table, and later another when they had more money.
