Carved and Painted Wood Figural Watch Hutch with a Pocket Watch, possibly northern Massachusetts, 19th century, depicting a young woman gazing at an open book in her arm, leaning against a carved shelf clock with gilt ball finial and beaded bezel, and simulated black marble painted surface, on a molded plinth with simulated marbling, the bottom inscribed "1846," accompanied by a pocket watch, (minor paint wear), ht. 8 7/8, wd. 7, dp. 2 7/8 in.
