Fourteen Chinese Export Porcelain Tea Ware Items, late 18th century, two tea bowls, two demitasse cups, and two saucers decorated with the Arms of Baillie with the motto "Quid Clarius Astris" [What is brighter than the stars] inscribed on a banner, with underglaze blue trellis and spearhead, and gilt husk chain borders, c. 1785; a tea bowl and matching saucer with a gilt initial "N" in a gilt-starred cobalt blue oval, with cobalt blue and gilt husk, trellis and pendant flower borders on the shaped rims; a matching cup and saucer with gilt grisaille floral decoration, and two matching tea bowls and saucers with grisaille Chinese waterway landscape decoration, with gilt and grisaille coin, pendant flower, and foliate chain rim borders, (imperfections), ht. to 2 1/2, dia. to 5 3/8 in.
