Pair of George III Silver Chambersticks with Snuffers, Robert Sharp, London, 1798, with removable bobeches on the ovoid candlecups, on a slightly dished oval base, ornamented with five reeded bands and engraved armorial crest, with conical snuffers with bud finials and acanthus handle, which fits into slot on chamberstick handle, ht. 4 1/8, dia. 6 1/4 in., (one bobeche of later origin, repairs), approx. 18.75 troy oz.
