Paton To the Captains, other Officers & Seamen who... burnt the PRUDENT and took the BIENFAISANT in Louisbourg Harbour about 1 o'clock in the morning of the 26th July, 1758., dated February 14, 1771. Engraving with hand-coloring on laid paper, depicting a French naval engagement, 18 1/2 x 25 1/2 in., in a later molded wood frame. Condition: Margins extend 1 in. or more beyond plate line, minor toning.
