Woven Red and White Tied-Beiderwand Coverlet with "Bostontown" Border, possibly woven by Gabriel Miller, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, mid-19th century, single-piece coverlet of red wool and natural cotton, centered with a field of fruit and flower-filled classical urns, billing birds, and birds with young in nest motifs, with a border of alternating Federal-style and Asian pagoda-style buildings, fringed on three edges, (minor toning and fringe losses), approx. 82 x 76 in.
