Indo-Tabriz Carpet, India, c. 1900, with a 16th century safavid Persian design of a gold field depicting a woodland scene with various wild beasts, leaping antelope, lions and perched birds in hues of blue, apricot, green, aubergine and rose, all within a reciprocal wide apricot lobed main border and navy minor border both with meandering vines, palmettes wild birds and animals, 13 ft. x 10 ft. 8 in.
