Serab Long Rug, Northwest Persia, late 19th century, the camel field with two large diamonds and two half diamonds inset with a highly stylized polychrome floral design, encircled by an archaic network of branches and multiple borders, one ivory with geometric forms and a reciprocal trefoil pattern, the outermost border with a line of animals at either end and shrubs and polygons along the sides, 11 ft. x 3 ft. 3 in.
