Chinese, 20th century, possibly earlier. Two Chinese celadon glazed circular porcelain plates. One possibly Jiaqing (1796-1820), the shallow circular dish with patterned gilt band accented with cartouche enclosing flowers and insects, centering calligraphic symbols within four enameled green bats on a celadon ground, decorated with enameled flowering peony, foliage, birds, and various insects. The other handled plate decorated in a famille rose palette on light celadon glaze and flat handle decorated with butterfly, cloud scrolls and flowering blossoms. The circular plate height 1.4", diameter 9.6". Handled plate height 1.6", diameter 10"._x000D_
