Guillaume Laplagne (French, Late 19th/Early 20th Century) Edward, Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII), the standing figure wearing the Welsh Guards uniform, on integral rectangular base with the Prince of Wales plume of feathers and "Ich Diem," to front, incised "G. Laplagne" to top, "Cire perdue" and "N. 5" to one side, and "Susse Freres Fondeurs Paris" and foundry stamp to reverse, ht. 18 1/2 in.
