Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951) Two Works: Overhead [Canadian Geese] and Geese Flying Over Overhead titled l. l., initialed "F.W.B." twice in pencil l.r., Flying unsigned, dated "1924" in pencil l.r., with a study of two widgeons on the reverse. Both graphite on paper, sheet sizes to 9 3/8 x 12 1/4 in. (23.8 x 31.1 cm), both unframed. Condition: Foxing, minor smudges. Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist.
