Charles Francois Daubigny (French, 1817-1878) Landscape and Pond Signed "Daubigny" l. l. identified on two labels from Newman Galleries, Philadelphia, on the reverse, and with a label from Newman Galleries affixed to the back of the frame. Oil on panel, 9 3/16 x 14 in. (23.3 x 35.0 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered retouch, surface grime. N.B. The Newman Galleries labels record the following provenance: From the Collection of Mrs. Rovena Gangewer, Allentown, Pennsylvania, to Walter Drew Newman, to Newman Galleries in 1971.
