Two Shahsavan Soumak Bagfaces, Northwest Persia, last quarter 19th century, one with an ivory center panel with octagon inset with reciprocal geometric forms with comb-like extensions flanked by horizontal bands displaying a pinwheel pattern, all within an "S" pattern main border, 1 ft. 7 in. x 1 ft. 6 in., the other with a polychrome lattice of hooked geometric forms on a midnight blue field within an ivory pinwheel main border, 2 ft. x 1 ft. 10 in.
