West Anatolian Prayer Rug, dated 1869, the stepped ivory mihrab inset with a hooked diamond enclosed by polychrome stylized rosettes, flowering shrubs, eight-pointed stars, and two rectangles, light indigo spandrels containing similar design elements, all within a soft yellow "snowflake"-type rosette main border, multiple stylized rosette and "S" pattern minor borders, 4 ft. x 3 ft. 8 in.
