Four Yachting Trophies from New York Yacht Clubs, two Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club: a George Henkel sterling silver-mounted oak box with hammered finish to silver elements, slide-out drawers, and engraved inscription, "Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club/ Annual Open Races, June 26, 1915/ First Prize-P Class/ Won by/ Amoret," lg. 8 1/4, and a hammered copper cup with two handles, lacking maker's marks, engraved "Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club/Special Regatta/SCYC 15-Footers/2nd Prize/won by/Tomale/27th May 1911", ht. 4 1/2; two Knickerbocker Yacht Club: a small Gorham silver dish with engraved inscription "The/Knickerbocker Yacht Club/Annual Race/Vega/2nd Prize/1914", dia. 6; and a Watrous hammered silver flask with engraved inscription "The Knickerbocker Yacht Club/Annual Regatta/June 3, 1922/Glen Cove Jewel Class/First Prize/won by/Opal", ht. 6 in.; approx. 8.4 troy oz. total weighable silver. N. B. Amoret was a sloop designed by C.B. and H.S. Wheelock of Boston. Russell B. Budd, a member of the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club, owned her during the 1915 season.
