Louis XV Marble-top Tulipwood- and Kingwood-veneered Petite Commode, Paris, marked "LARDIN" at each corner for André Antoine Lardin (1724-1790), with additional "ME" guild mark to one side, serpentine, with three drawers each with crossbanding and string-inlaid veneers, ormolu hardware, and a pendant apron, raised on sabot-mounted feet, ht. 33, wd. 35, dp. 16 in. N.B. Lardin (maître, 1750) was particularly respected for the quality of his veneers.
