Seven New Rochelle Yacht Club Sterling Silver Trophies, three Gorham: a muffineer with pierced cover over body with engraved inscription, "New Rochelle Yacht Club/Annual Regatta/August 29th 1925/Second Prize/ Won by/Lea," ht. 6, a small dish engraved to the center "New Rochelle Yacht Club/1933/1st Prize Victory Class/won by/Black Jack", dia. 5, and a dish with a raised handle and foliate rim, engraved to the center "New Rochelle Yacht Club/Annual Regatta/August 29th 1925/Third Prize/won by/Vindictive", dia. 6; a Durgin dish with handle and spoon-form bowl with engraved inscription, "1914/New Rochelle Yacht Club/Handicap Class 2nd Div./Won by/Ariel," on three ball feet, lg. 4 7/8; a circular dish with a gadrooned rim engraved to the center "New Rochelle Yacht Club/1929/2nd Prize/Ten Meter Class/won by/Nautilus", dia. 9 1/2; a Frank Whiting dish with a glass base inset with pressed flowers and a butterfly within a reticulated silver rim engraved "New Rochelle Yacht Club/Annual Regatta/August 29th 1925/2nd Prize/won by/Avanti", dia. 7 5/8; and an Alvin bowl with pierced fish scale design, on conforming foot, and with engraved inscription, "New Rochelle Yacht Club/Annual Regatta/Aug. 27th 1910/Won by/Dragon Fly," dia. 6 3/8 in.; approx. 24.8 troy oz. total weighable silver. N.B. Ariel was owned by T. Price during the 1914 season. Dragon Fly was a member of the Manhasset Yacht Club "Bug" class, and originally owned by Donald Cowl of Great Neck, New York.
