Three Tiffany & Co. Bronze New York Yacht Club Medals, New York, 20th century, each with a galleon to obverse and laurel wreath to reverse, two dated 1925 commemorating Spartan , and one dated 1901 commemorating Hester , in a fitted leather and velvet box marked for Spaulding & Co., Paris; dia. 3 in. N.B. The Spartan is a New York Yacht Club 50-footer designed by Herreshoff in 1912. She is believed to be the only surviving example of her class.
