Classical Carved and Paint-decorated Pine and Bird's-eye Maple Bureau, probably Vermont, c. 1825-30, the two short drawers on a projecting case of two short drawers and four long drawers flanking birds-eye-maple panels above sawtooth carved columns continuing to vase- and ring-turned legs, the red and black paint resembling exotic graining, with original turned wooden pulls and surface, (minor imperfections), total ht. 54 1/2, wd. 42 1/4, dp. 21 1/2 in.
