Cherry Carved Tall Case Clock, David Wood, Newburyport, Massachusetts, c. 1790, the hood with a pagoda top centering a carved pinwheel and columns flanking the white-painted polychrome and gilt floral-decorated dial with seconds hand and calendar aperture, signed "David Wood, Newbury Port," above the tombstone waist door, all on elaborate cutout bracket feet, (refinished), ht. 84 1/2 in.
