Cherry Carved Tall Case Clock, John Bailey, Hanover, Massachusetts, late 18th century, the hood with swan's neck cresting and carved rosette terminals above the tombstone white-painted and gilt dial showing the ages of the moon in the arch with seconds and calendar indicators, inscribed "John Bailey," the tombstone waist door flanked by quarter-columns repeated on the base with raised panel all on bracket feet, (imperfections), ht. 93 1/2 in. including finial.
