To Arnold Gates, thanking him for sending birthday wishes and sending his best regards to "Hughie"; in a dark purplish ink and a fine hand, old folds, minor edge chipping, 8 1/2 x 11 in.; the postcard with an image of the Mission at San Juan Capistrano, same recipient as above, with more thanks for birthday wishes, 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in.
