Large quarto, illustrated with four engraved plates by Morel after Chaudet, printed on velin, the plates in an early state, before letters were added; bound in full contemporary morocco, with rolled Greek key tool in gilt on boards, inner gilt dentelles, spine lettered and tooled in gold, with a lyre tool, pale blue watered silk pastedowns and free endleaves, a.e.g.; some bumping to corners, binding intact, some slight spotting and foxing to contents, 12 1/4 x 8 3/4 in.
