Note: The DeWitt Clinton Train was the first locomotive and train of passenger-cars in the state of New York making its first run from Albany to Schenectady on August 9, 1831. This model received a first prize from the New York Society of Model Engineers, Inc. in 1948 and 1949. Original certificates and photographs accompany the lot.
