Austro-Hungarian . 800 Silver Figural Inkwell, Vienna, 1867-1922, maker's mark "KM" in a circular cartouche, also marked to lower silver band enclosing base "entw. Raszka" and "aug. Krahl," cast as St. George slaying the dragon on a textured oynx ground, the dragon with emerald-set eyes and its tail wrapped around a silver-hinged inkwell, with a lower metal band and a two-part wood base, lg. of onyx 12 1/4 in. N.B. A document stating that the piece was purchased by the House of Ottoker Huebner, Vienna, from a near relative of the late Emperor Franz Joseph II, accompanies the lot.
