Miniature Red-painted Poplar Six-board Chest, possibly Pennsylvania, early 19th century, the lift top with applied molded edge, on the dovetail-constructed box and applied base molding, old red paint, ht. 5, wd. 8 1/4, dp. 5 1/4 in. Note: A sometimes indistinct pencil inscription on the underside of the top reads: "William B. Prichett/March 24th 1877/East ---/----County/----."
