Heriz Carpet, Northwest Persia, second quarter 20th century, the navy floral filled center medallion with large floral palmette-type pendants upon a red field with an allover polychrome and stylized trellis of large serrated leaves, curled vines, and blossoms, light blue and soft yellow concentric spandrels all within a navy "turtle" main border, multiple floral meander and ribbon minor borders, 12 ft. 8 in. x 9 ft. 2 in.
