German School, 20th Century Pheasants in Tall Grass. Signed "ROHRBACH" l.r., artist identified as "H. Rohrbach, German b. 1921" on an unattributed, typed label affixed to the frame backing. Oil on canvas, 24 x 36 in., framed. Condition: Mild surface grime. N.B. No information was located regarding an artist "H. Rohrbach" in the standard references, however a Walter Rohrbach (German, b. 1939) was credited with a painting of three pheasants in a landscape that was sold in 2005 in Europe.
