Arts & Crafts Amethyst and Split Pearl Brooch, Dorrie Nossiter, the navette form set with oval and circular-cut amethysts and split pearls, gold disc accents, silver mount, lg. 1 1/2 in., unmarked. Note: Purchased at Skinner, Sale 1908, Lot 96, March 30, 1999. The brooch was originally consigned by personal friends of Dorrie Nossiter, who purchased this brooch from her in England. Jewelry from a New England Collector, proceeds to benefit the Campaign for Catholic Schools.
